Our Ministries

At Weir Baptist Camp, our ministries are designed to nurture spiritual growth, foster meaningful connections, and make a positive impact on the community. Whether you’re looking for a place to deepen your faith, participate in life-changing experiences, or get involved in local outreach, our ministries offer something for everyone.

Summer Camps

Each summer, Weir Baptist Camp is proud to host five unique camps designed to inspire and nurture campers of all ages. We welcome churches from both within and outside of our association, creating a vibrant and diverse community of faith. Our camps include:

  • Day Camp (Pre-K to Kindergarten)

  • Kingdom Kids’ Camp (1st-2nd grade)

  • Children’s Camp (3rd-4th grade)

  • Camp 5-6 (5th-6th grade)

  • Senior High/Junior High Camp.

At the heart of each camp is a commitment to biblical teaching centered on Christ and sharing the Gospel with all who attend. We are equally focused on guiding and shepherding campers who are already Christians, helping them grow in their faith. AlBullet listongside spiritual growth, we ensure that campers have plenty of fun, enjoy delicious meals, and feel comfortable in their accommodations.

Retreats

The camp has hosted a variety of weekend retreats. These have included multiple youth groups events and a young girls "Ignite" retreat. These have been great opportunities to relax and refocus during the school year.

Community Involvement

WBC supports the community through its support for the local schools. The Southeast High School cross country team has a course on the camp and hosted three races during 2018. The camp is also an annual stop along the local "Gorilla Century" bike ride.

Cross Country

Weir Baptist Church Camp proudly hosts the USD-247 Southeast Lancer Cross Country team for practices and meets on our scenic cross-country course. This course is open not only to students and coaches but also to the public, offering a beautiful setting for runners of all ages and abilities.

In addition to regular practices, we host a Cross Country Camp during the summer, where athletes can refine their skills and enjoy fellowship. We also organize fun runs and meets throughout the year, creating opportunities for the community to come together and enjoy the sport.
